Sermons

Each of the 5 daily prayers are led by a mosque immaam.

Weekday prayers and Saturday prayers are usually lead by Mufti Zaid.

Friday prayers (Jumma) is normally conducted by Mufti Zaid in both English and Urdu so that all members of the commumity are able to understand and act upon the teachings.


In addition to the regular prayers regular various aspects of Islam are also discussed e.g

Friday evening - English talk
Daily after Fajr prayers - Hadith of the day in Urdu and English
Mon to Thursday - Daily after Zuhr Prayers Urdu

During the holy month of Ramadan, taraweeh prayers are held nightly at the mosque. each evening the imaam will also provide atranslation in urdu and English, of the Quran which has been recited that evening.

Prayers for Eid ul  Fitr and Eid al Adha are also held at the mosque. Due to the large number of worshippers attending the eid prayers 2 or even 3 sermons are held. It is advisable to attend early.
